Our sailing itineraries cover the whole area of south ionian sea. You can sail with IOUSA and visit all the corners of south ionian sea, not yet discovered by the masses.
You can sail following the plans we designed for you, or you can design your own getaway. The maps here can help you. Do not forget sailing is first of all freedom. So maybe you can stick to your plan, maybe not…
Choices of Sailing Itineraries
For the local sailing itineraries we propose the following:
Northern route: Pylos – Navarino bay – Voidokilia bay – Proti isle
Southern route: Pylos – Navarino bay – Methoni – Sapientza isle – Finikounda.
Like most of Greece, our area is full of history. Therefore, you can plan your own sailing trip to the towns of Methoni and Koroni. There you will have the option to walk into magnificent castles and get absorbed into the past. Keep in mind that sailing from Methoni to Koroni, a stop in Finikounda with its long sandy beach is must.
The above can be part of a multi day plan which can include sailing to the towns of Stoupa and Kardamili on the other side of the Messinian gulf.
We either provide an experienced skipper service for you who can advice on the most interesting places to visit. Alternatively, if you are a certified sailor you could sail with IOUSA away on your own.
